Lawyers for , former international advisor to the Presidency in the Jair Bolsonaro government, registered at a notary’s office in Ponta Grossa (PR) this Tuesday (27) data from a cell phone indicating that the last access to the LinkedIn network occurred in September 2024.

The notarial minutes reproduce images from the social network with the accesses made by Martins.

Bolsonaro’s former advisor is preventively detained in the metropolitan region of Curitiba because he allegedly accessed the social network at the end of last year, violating the precautionary measure determined by the minister.

Last year, Martins was convicted by the Supreme Court for participating in the attempted coup d’état, but he is not yet serving his sentence in that case, as he has pending appeals.

The former advisor’s access to the social network was He informed Moraes that his profile had been consulted by Martins, who denies the fact.

In a statement, the former advisor’s lawyers state that the data extracted from his cell phone and recorded in a registry office form a timeline that proves there is no reason to maintain his preventive detention.

Not Saturday (24th),

“The Attorney General of the Republic and Minister Alexandre de Moraes said that there was no new fact or suitable document demonstrating that no login [na rede social] had occurred. However, we had already gathered LinkedIn’s own report. Now we are going to present this report with notarized minutes and proof of the entire chain of custody, confirming its origin”, said Ricardo Scheiffer, one of Martins’ lawyers.

“What’s worth more? Official platform document with chain of custody and notarial minutes? Or prints without proof of origin, which could even have been forged with AI? The PGR and the minister think this second option is worth more. We don’t understand that”, adds the lawyer.
