Mexico City – Mexico is apparently bowing to pressure from US President Donald Trump and restricting oil deliveries to Cuba. President Claudia Sheinbaum indirectly confirmed a media report on Tuesday that deliveries to the communist-ruled Caribbean island had been suspended. She dodged the question of whether oil shipments would be withheld, instead answering: “It is a sovereign decision and it will be taken at the moment it is necessary.”
