Como, from Italy, is rushing to accelerate the signing of Kaiki Bruno, Cruzeiro’s left-back. The European club has been following the 22-year-old player for some time and wants to close the deal in this transfer window.
The rush is due to the deadline for registering new athletes in Italian football, which ends next Monday, February 2nd.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the agreement was defined between the parties this Thursday (29), with only the contract to be signed.

Also according to Fabrizio Romano, the negotiation was signed for the value of 10 million euros plus 2 million target bonuses (around R$61.8 million + R$12.3 million).
In recent weeks, the celestial board had rejected an initial offer from Como worth around 7 million euros (R$43.7 million).

Kaiki’s trajectory on Cruzeiro
A graduate of Raposa’s youth teams, Kaiki arrived at the club in 2014, at the age of 11, and built his entire career in football within Toca da Raposa. The full-back stood out at every stage until being promoted to the professional squad in 2021.
In his first two years on the first team, he had few opportunities. From 2023 onwards, he began to gain more minutes, initially as an immediate reserve for Marlon, then holder of the position. That year, he started 14 matches. In 2024, he entered the field 23 times, 14 from the start.
In 2025, Kaiki gained space and established himself on the left side. In the 2026 season, he maintained his starting position and was present in important games.
With regularity, maturity and sequence of games, Kaiki gained value in the market and started to arouse international interest, which explains the onslaught of European football at the beginning of the season.
