The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), stated that he will “speed up” the Mercosur Agreement with the European Union as soon as the presidential message reaches the National Congress. The statement was made in a post on the social network X, this Wednesday, 28th, after a meeting with the group of leaders of the Chamber.
“Regarding the Mercosur-EU Agreement, as soon as it reaches the House, we will speed it up,” wrote Motta.

The PT member said he would talk to the minister of the Institutional Relations Secretariat, Gleisi Hoffmann, to “speed up the arrival” of the presidential message to the Chamber and the forwarding of the agreement to Parlasul.
