Benfica met their next opponent this Friday in UEFA’s main club competition. Benfica will once again face Real Madrid in the playoff to reach the round of 16 of the after the epic last Wednesday.

If they qualify, the “eagles” will face city rivals Sporting (seventh in the league stage) or English side Manchester City (eighth in the round of 16) in the round of 16, which they will find out in a draw scheduled for February 27, after the play-off is complete.
