Aaron Washer entered the weight loss reality show Deadly Kilos when it weighed 326 kilos and depended on the help of his father, aged 75, to make basic daily activities.
With the help of Dr. Now, the program’s doctor, he understood that his addiction to food was linked to the early death of his mother due to obesity problems and the guilt of being dependent on his elderly father.
During his participation in Kilos Mortais, Aaron began undergoing therapy to treat his addiction to food and managed to begin his weight loss process, becoming able to undergo bariatric surgery.
He used to update his process and talk about his life on his social media. In April 2019, he said that his father had an infection in his foot and needed surgery — passing away two weeks later.
After the event, he deleted his fan page and only kept his personal account. In an episode of Deadly Kilos: Where Are They Now?, the man said that his father’s death made his weight loss process difficult because it made him feel very alone.
Currently, Aaron shares moments he has with his wife, Ashlee, with whom he has been on the reality show, Ashlee, on his Facebook account, showing their outings and commemorative dates.
He appears to have maintained his weight loss after the program and has a normal, active life.
