The Secretary of Prizes and Bets at the Ministry of Finance, Regis Dudena, leaves his position this Thursday (29) to take over the Secretariat of Economic Reforms,
The appointment signed by Chief of Staff Rui Costa was published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Thursday.
Regis Dudena has commanded the SPA since April 2024. As head of Economic Reforms, it will be up to him to continue the Lula government’s attempt to change the rules of the PAT (Worker’s Food Program), and to end the tax exemption on documents such as LCA (Agribusiness Letters of Credit) and LCI (Real Estate Credit Letters).
According to the Ministry of Finance, SPA’s deputy, Daniele Correa Cardoso, will temporarily head the Prizes and Bets Secretariat.
Regis Dudena is a lawyer specializing in public and regulatory law and has previously held other positions in the legal area of the Civil House.
