Negotiation Values and Details

The negotiation was driven by Flamengo’s need to renew its offensive options with long-term pieces. As Josmar had renewed his contract with Avaí at the end of 2025, the Santa Catarina club was protected by a termination fine for the national market stipulated in R$ 18 million.

Flamengo chose to pay close to the value of this fine to guarantee the athlete’s exclusivity, overcoming competition from other Serie A giants. The agreement provides for Rubro-Negro to hold most of the economic rights, while Avaí maintains a percentage of “surplus value” (profit on a future sale that exceeds the current value), ensuring that the training club will still profit if the player is negotiated with Europe in the coming years.

His main highlights show an atypical coolness for his age in front of goal, especially in crossed shots with his left leg.

No scheme Filipe Luísthe expectation is that he will be honed to perform in roles similar to those of Luiz Araújo or Gonzalo Plata, serving as an alternative with speed and dribbling to break through opposing teams.
