In a surprising move, the governor of Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado, joined the , party of , and messed up the presidential election board a little more.
The party now has three presidential candidates: in addition to Caiado, also the governors of Paraná, Ratinho Jr., and Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite.
Ratinho remains the favorite, because he is seen as someone who can attract centrist voters.
