Shots at CEO: US judge says no death penalty for Luigi Mangione


New York – More than a year after the killing of the CEO of a health insurer in New York, a judge has ruled out the possibility of the death penalty for the accused Luigi Mangione. Judge Margaret Garnett in New York ruled that a sentence of life imprisonment without parole is still possible. Garnett also ruled that evidence found in a backpack during Mangione’s arrest could be used in the trial.
