Preparing faworki yourself can give you a lot of satisfaction, although it can also be a culinary challenge. However, a simple method is enough to prevent them from burning while frying and to remain crisp and tasty.
Often, when frying, the faworki begin to burn or simply become too hard, making them less appetizing. This is usually because temperature is too high. Fortunately, we can easily remedy this.
It turns out that all we need to do is add a piece of raw potato to the oil from time to time while frying. Thanks to this we will equalize the temperature and our faworki will stop burning and will be pleasantly crumbly, not hard.
All we need to do is peel and wash the potato and cut it into smaller pieces. Once prepared, we can safely throw it into the oil. The type of fat we choose for frying is also important. We can use rapeseed oil, sunflower oil or coconut oil, which will add an interesting aroma to the faworki.
Now that you know how to fry faworki to make them tasty, it is also worth knowing the recipe for the perfect sweet snack. To prepare it, we will need the following ingredients:

Contrary to appearances, preparation is not difficult. We start by sifting the flour over the pastry board. Then we make a hole in the middle and put the yolks in it. Add powdered sugar, spirit, salt and cream and knead the dough thoroughly. Knead them for a few minutes and then beat them with a rolling pin to aerate them well.
Roll out the dough and cut out strips from it, which we cut in the middle. After cutting the strip, we put one end through the hole and gently pull it out, to create a characteristic twisted fan.
Heat the oil and fry the faworki in portions, remembering the potato trick. Place the prepared faworki on a paper towel to drain excess fat and leave until they cool down. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
