Pustertal can only theoretically be pushed out of the round of the last eight after a 3:1 (2:0.0:0.0:1) against VSV. The Graz99ers, who had already qualified for the quarter-finals, won at home against the Pioneers Vorarlberg 3:2 (2:0,1:1,0:1), the Vienna Capitals won in Vienna against HC Innsbruck with 5:2 (1:0,3:1,1:1).
