Bonetti is a substitute for Romário (PL), who left the Senate on a 120-day leave of absence. He is scheduled to return to his role in March. Nikolas is seen as a central figure in this year’s campaign.
Last week, the Minas Gerais parliamentarian gathered 18 thousand people in Brasília after calling for a week-long walk in defense of Bolsonaro. The march left Paracatu (MG) towards the Federal District.
This week, Bolsonaro received governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos-SP). At the meeting, they sealed peace after a period of disagreement. It was decided that the former minister will seek reelection in São Paulo and support Flávio.
