SHMÚ issues warnings against fog and ice: Be smart in these areas!

In areas Tekova and Hontu in the south of Slovakia are threatened by fog on Saturday morning with visibility of 50 to 200 m. Level 1 fog warning for districts Levice, Banská Štiavnica, Krupina and Veľký Krtíš, valid until 10:00 a.m., issued by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ).

At the same time, meteorologists on their website warn of the risk that fogs represent for traffic activities. They remind in the same context also an ice warning, which with the exception of the region The High Tatras and Spiš are also valid for the entire territory of Slovakia until 10:00 a.m.
