Pre-candidate for the Presidency, the senator (PL) is fulfilling an agenda in the Middle East and arrived in Bahrain, continuing meetings with authorities from the Arab world.
According to his advisor, Flávio and his brother, a former federal deputy accused in the (Supreme Federal Court) of promoting a campaign against Brazil with the American government, were invited to a dinner at the palace of Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, one of the main leaders of that country.
During the meeting, according to the statement, the prince asked about the health of the former president (PL) and showed solidarity with his situation.
The visit is part of a series of trips organized by Eduardo to prepare what Flávio promises will be a “reset” of Brazilian foreign policy towards the Middle East if he wins the October elections.
