An accident involving a truck and a passenger car occurred on the D1 highway on Sunday before 4:00 a.m. at the 24th kilometer in the direction of Bratislava. Therefore, the right and middle lanes are closed, traffic is directed only in the left lane. There were no injuries in the accident. TASR was informed about this by Katarína Bartošová, the spokeswoman of the Bratislava Regional Police.
“According to the information found so far, a truck collided with a passenger car that was stopped in the right lane. As a result of the incident, both vehicles ended up off the road, while the lorry remained wedged between the bridge pier and its structure.” explained Bartošová. She added that the breath tests of both drivers ended with a negative result.
