While the whole of Vienna was celebrating New Year’s Eve, it was unusually quiet in the Pratersauna. Instead of stomping into the new year with banging hard techno as planned, one of the city’s most famous clubs had to quietly close. At the end of November, Sabrina Geißler, DJ and organizer, was asked to take part in her New Year’s Eve event series Purradox. Because there were rumors in the scene about outstanding fees, to be on the safe side she demanded to be paid on the night of the performance. But that never happened.
