A novelty is coming to the TV screens! Slovak television and radio will introduce on Friday, February 6 at 10 p.m. on Dvojka, the premiere of the new talk show Medzi nami with Kata Martinková. The new program will be part of the broadcast regularly from this date every Friday night. The show will bring a special perspective on life in today’s connected world through the stories and experiences of individual guests.
One topic, three guests and moderator Katarína Martinková. An experienced radio presenter with extensive experience at Slovak Radio is known for her sensitive and respectful conduct of interviews. In each episode, three guests from different walks of life meet, who have a different experience with the given topic. The show naturally combines professional perspectives with personal stories and creates space for an open and authentic discussion.
Peter Begányi, entrusted with the management of Slovak Television, says about the new show: “Slovak Television creates space for calm and cultured conversations. The new talk show Medzi nami with Kata Martinková offers exactly what public television is supposed to bring. Meaningful dialogue, personalities with an authentic point of view and themes that appeal to audiences across generations.”
The topic of the first part will be hits and those who make them. Music is an integral part of our lives, and well-known songs accompany us with everyday joys and memories. They accepted the invitation to study legendary singer, musician and composer Pavol Hammel, singer, author and artist Zuzana Smatanová and lyricist, writer, playwright and presenter Boris Filan.
The new talk show Medzi nami with Kata Martinková will expand the evening program of Dvojka and offer viewers a regular space to share experiences and meet inspiring personalities. Moderator Kata Martinková adds: “I would like the viewer to take away from each show the feeling of having learned something new. About the topic, about the guests, but maybe also about themselves. For me, it is important that the conversation takes place in an atmosphere of respect, equality and humanity, and that the emotion it leaves behind is natural and pleasant.”
The discussion show will replace the talk show Trochu anak with Adela, which was broadcast by STVR until the end of January 2026. Although it is a novelty, it has certain similar characteristics. Just like in Troch anak, the presenter welcomes three guests and invites personalities with unique stories. However, Peter Marcin’s talk show – Neskoro večer also has such characteristics. The broadcast time is also the same for the formats Trochu inak and Medzi nami – at 10 p.m. on Dvojkaas it is a replacement and a new program.
