Endrick leads the list of most efficient under-20 players in the world

Featured in Lyonthe attacker Endrick was named the most efficient under-20 player in the world, according to a survey by CIES Football Observatory Index. The research takes into account the impact of athletes in relation to the minutes played.

At 19 years old, the Brazilian striker reached the mark of 92.7 points. The Lyon athlete was ahead of Lennart Karl, from , with 85.9, and Ecuadorian Justin Lerma, from Independiente del Valle, with 84.3.

He played four games in 2026, scored four goals and provided one assist. Just over a month after his arrival at Lyon, he won the starting line-up in the team led by Paulo Fonseca.

Endrick will return to the field for Lyon this Wednesday (4), at 4:30 pm, against Laval, in a match valid for the round of 16 of the French Cup.

Endrick no Lyon

Endrick was announced as Lyon’s reinforcement in December 2025. The striker left looking to gain more minutes on the field. The young player’s loan is valid until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The French club disbursed one million euros (around R$6.5 million) to seal the agreement with the Merengues.

Endrick’s debut was against Lille, on January 11th. The striker scored the goal that secured Lyon’s 2-1 victory.
