The price represents an increase compared to the previous edition, when the Fox charged US$8 million (R$42 million) for the same period of time. Commercial quotas for this year’s Super Bowl were sold out 5 months in advance, showing the strong interest of advertisers.

Evolution of advertising values

A NBCU began negotiations charging US$7 million (around R$36.2 million) for half a minute of advertising. With high demand, the values ​​were progressively increased until they exceeded US$9 million (R$47.3 million), in addition to additional packages that included insertions during the Winter Olympics.

In a statement released in September 2025, the company itself NBCU highlighted the “unprecedented demand” for advertising space, which resulted in the highest revenue in the broadcaster’s history from the event.

The value of advertising space during the Super Bowl shows consistent growth in recent decades. Data from USA Today indicates that in 1995, a 30-second commercial during the event cost US$1.15 million (R$6 million). The current value represents an increase of almost ten times in 3 decades.

In the previous edition, the Fox recorded 127 million viewers and gross revenue of US$800 million (R$4.2 billion) in advertising sales, transforming the commercial break of the (National Football League) final into the most valuable advertising space in the sports universe.
