No new releases in 11 years, Nancy Meyers will return to direct a film for Warner Bros. Pictures in 2026.
Meyers, who fought for a year to have his project approved, confirmed this Monday (2) the release date of his next feature and part of the main cast. , Kieran Culkin, Emma Mackey and Owen Wilson were the names chosen to star in the script written by the filmmaker.
In the 1990s, Meyers began to gain a loyal following of viewers with big titles such as “Father of the Bride” and . The director’s career was consolidated in the 2000s, with the releases of “O Amor Não Tira Férias” and “Alguém Tem que Ceder”. Nancy’s last production, until then, was “The Intern”, in 2015.
The new feature film, which has no name or teaser released yet, is scheduled to premiere on December 25, 2027. Initially, the project was called “Paris Paramount”, but it is not known whether the title was official, provisional or just a code to refer to it.
