Crowds visited the freezing Baltic beach, in Mikoszewo, in northern Poland, on a weekend marked by extreme temperatures, with minimum temperatures hovering around -20 ºC. The sea and the Vistula estuary were covered in ice, creating a rare winter landscape that attracted tourists and locals for tours and photographs.
Many considered the phenomenon impressive due to its unusual size, despite it being occasional in the country’s coldest winters.
