Gates also said that he met Epstein several times over three years after meeting him in 2011.

Bill Gates denied the “false” accusations” that appear in documents released by the Department of Justice related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.

In an interview with the Australian channel 9news, Gates stated that the financier wrote an email to himself. The case documents in drafts on Epstein’s account.

In the texts, he states that Gates would have used it to organize meetings with women and that he had contracted a sexually transmitted disease. “I don’t know what he was thinking. Maybe he was trying to attack me in some way?”, countered the Microsoft co-founder.

“I regret every moment I spent with him, and I apologize for doing that,” he continued. Gates also said that he met Epstein several times over three years after meeting him in 2011.

He denied, however, that he ever went to the financier’s island or had relations with women.. The focus of the conversations would have been to raise funds for global health, but the conversations would have led nowhere. “I was stupid to spend time with him,” Gates said.

In an interview with the American public network NPR, the billionaire’s ex-wife, Melinda French Gates, stated that the details disclosed in the documents are “painful” and recalls a difficult period in their marriage.

She also stated that the questions being raised should be answered by the people mentioned and not by her. She was reportedly separated by her husband’s association with Epstein. After the separation, Bill Gates admitted to having an affair with a Microsoft employee in 2029.
