Bill Gates: 'I Was A Fool To Spend Time With Epstein' - Fake Emails

He tried to answer those formulated against him after the publication of his latest files, stating that he is “one of the many people who regret ever having known him”.

“What is stated in the email is false”

In an interview with Australia’s Nine News, published on Wednesday, Gates categorically denied the allegations.

“Apparently Jeffrey wrote an email to himself. This email was never sent. The email is fake, so I don’t know what he was thinking,” Gates said, without making it clear which of the emails he was referring to.

“Every minute I spent with him I regret and I apologize for doing it,” he added. Gates’ relationship with Epstein has been extensively documented. He said the two men met in 2011, years after Epstein had served time in prison after pleading guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution.

What emerges from the documents

Documents posted on the Justice Department’s website last week include drafts of emails Epstein himself allegedly wrote to himself in 2013. In one, he claimed to have helped Bill Gates obtain medication to treat a sexually transmitted infection, which Epstein said he contracted after “having sex with Russian women.”

The convicted sex offender also claimed he facilitated the Microsoft co-founder’s “illegal sexual encounters” with married women. In a separate email, Epstein alleged that Gates had tried to secretly give his then-wife, Melinda Franz Gates, antibiotics for a sexually transmitted infection.

“To make matters worse, you then tearfully ask me to delete the emails regarding your STD, your request to supply you with antibiotics to secretly give to Melinda, and the description of your penis,” the specific email reads.

Gates Repentant – Reply to his ex-wife

In his interview, Gates said, among other things, that: “The logic has always been that he knew a lot of very rich people and said he could convince them to donate money to global health. In retrospect, this turned out to be a dead end and I was a fool to spend time with him. I was one of the many people who regret ever meeting him.”

Bill Gates has not been charged with any wrongdoing in connection with the Epstein case.

The Microsoft founder’s interview comes after Melinda Gates said her ex-husband still has questions to answer about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
