In a statement, the Civil Police reported that three adults were charged with coercing a witness
The Civil Police of Santa Catarina concluded this Tuesday (3) the investigations into the death of Cão Orelha and requested hospitalization of the teenager involved in the case. “Four teenagers were represented in the Caramelo case and one teenager had a request for hospitalization in the Orelha case”, says a police note. “In addition, in the Orelha case, three adults were indicted for coercing a witness”, they add.
In the note, the Civil Police indicates that it took more than a thousand hours of analysis of footage from the region, on the 14 pieces of equipment that captured the images. “24 witnesses were interviewed, 8 teenage suspects were investigated, in addition to evidence such as the clothes worn by the perpetrator, which was recorded on film,” they explain.
According to the information collected, the dog Orelha was attacked in the early hours of January 4th, around 5:30 am in Praia Brava, in the North of the Island.
