Digital influencer Thiago Pedra, known as “BH Drake”, aged 24, reacted to an assault that occurred within his own wing, reaching shoot and kill one of the robbers, 29 years old. The case happened in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, in the early hours of this Tuesday (3).
According to information from the Military Police, A report was made at around 00:08, when three armed individuals allegedly invaded the influencer’s house and took him and other residents hostage. Two of the suspects allegedly entered the room where Thiago was getting ready to sleep, covering his mouth and announcing the robbery.
While another suspect went to his 20-year-old brother’s room, Thiago also heard an attempt to access his parents’ room. His 50-year-old father was reportedly approached when he opened the door, and that was when an argument began between the suspects and the influencer.
During the confusion, Thiago allegedly shot one of the robbers. In a statement, the influencer’s defense classified the act as “self-defense to protect his own life and that of his family.”
After the case, Thiago contacted Samu (Mobile Emergency Care Service) and the Military Police. The suspect who was shot was rescued by the man with gunshot wounds, but he succumbed to his injuries and died.
The other two suspects fled after the shooting, taking only an influencer’s helmet. In total, two firearms were found on a counter in the laundry area of the home.
During the police investigation, the presence of a fourth individual was found in a vehicle, possibly linked to the group. Security cameras are also being analyzed by the Civil Police. In one of the recordings, it is possible to see the suspects leaving the influencer’s house.

In a statement, the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG) reported that official expertise collected traces at the scene of the events and that the case is being investigated at the State Center of Duty Digital. The dead suspect was identified as a 29-year-old man.

Mr. Thiago regrets that the outcome of the fateful episode was a fatal victim, stating, once again, that the necessary means were used to repel the unjust aggression of the criminals.
Finally, it is reported that the incident is still ongoing at the police station and the influencer remains at the disposal of the courts to provide all the necessary clarifications to clarify the facts.
