Malachovská has had enough! A strong message to the critics: For those of you who think I’m a patronizing idiot…

Kristína Malachovská has strengthened the team of the radio show Dobré ráno, Slovensko!, which is one of the key programs of Radio Slovakia’s daily broadcast. After the announcement of the news, supportive but also quite critical comments appeared on social networks. The daughters of TV star Iveta Malachovská were touched, so she decided to react on her Instagram profile.

“Don’t be angry with me, but I can’t resist commenting on the hype surrounding my work at Slovak Radio. There are obviously people in Slovak Radio who may see something in me, something that the haters don’t see, or maybe they don’t even want to see. That’s why he won’t give it to me and I’ll put this aside for the next 24 hours,” she wrote at the beginning of her statement.

According to her, critics see only the surname, immediately attach a red exclamation point to it and throw stones. She added that some people immediately condemn her for being patronizing and do not take into account that she can be smart or have qualities that can be found somewhere. “Every job and every person in a new job needs time to fully show their qualities. I didn’t even sit behind the microphone for 2 minutes and all hell broke loose. I wouldn’t even be surprised if I stutter for the first time from this pressure that is being put on me here,” she continued.

She emphasized that her main job is to prepare morning topics and she will not have her own show. “What you tolerate in others without a known name, you blame me just because I have a name. Don’t be mad, but I’m not going to stop doing what I love and being in the media just because my mom built an admirable career in the same industry and you all just label me. I have the right to find professional happiness just like anyone else, and I will go for it,” she said.

She then reminded the haters of the show Čo ja viem, in which she set a new record. In the final, she answered 31 questions correctly without a single mistake. The prize of 10,400 euros went to a then 23-year-old volleyball player, who had to have both legs amputated. “And for those of you who think I’m a patronizing tupelo… Although I had a different NAME there, I still have the same one in my head. As far as I know, no one has conquered it yet.” she added forcefully. You can find a PHOTO of the contributions in the gallery. She also competed with the surname Kocian. In the meantime, a lot has changed in her life, and she and her husband Adam Kocian divorced. After the collapse of the marriage, she returned to her maiden name.

Kristina for recently spoke about a new step in the media environment. “I was approached for this position by the management of Rádio Slovensko. Milan Urbaník and I spoke very openly about our mutual expectations and we agreed on what my cooperation with the morning team should look like. I am not afraid of challenges, which is why I was very pleased and pleasantly surprised by this offer.” she revealed.

She is most looking forward to the work itself, to the people and to the team, which, according to her, received her very friendly. “So far, I have a very positive feeling about the whole cooperation. I’m curious how it will develop and where it can move,” added Malachovská.

Director of Slovak Radio Peter Janků also sees it as optimistic. “Kristína Malachovská becomes part of the morning team of Radio Slovakia, where she will participate in the preparation of topics for the show Good morning, Slovakia!, in the creation of journalistic articles and in the search for interesting stories from everyday life. We see the morning broadcast as one of the most important program pillars and we want it to be lively, dynamic and open to people and their topics,” he said for Jank.

He explained how he came up with the name of Kristina Malachovská. “When putting together the morning team, we were looking for people who can bring energy, naturalness and the ability to work with topics that appeal to a wide range of listeners to the broadcast,” outlined the director of Slovak Radio.

I decided to give space to the young and talented Kristina Malachovská, also considering her previous experience in the television environment. Our goal is to offer listeners a morning that is not only about an overview of the news, but also about context, emotion and an understandable explanation of the world around us.” he clarified. Janků believes that Malachovská will bring to the team a new perspective, energy, a responsible approach to the preparation of topics and a cultured, natural expression in contact with listeners.
