Rodrigo Antunes / LUSA

The candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, António José Seguro
Anyone who voted for a candidate who did not make it to the second round will choose Seguro: 89%, against just 1% for Ventura.
New survey, different from the daily one, but the outcome is similar: António José Seguro should win, with a wide marginthe second round of presidential elections.
The former general secretary of the PS succeeds 56% of voting intentions, according to the CESOP–Universidade Católica Portuguesa survey for , Antena 1 and Público newspaper.
Andre Ventura he receives less than half of his opponent’s votes, and with a percentage almost the same as in the first round: 25%.
The vast majority (82%) of respondents assured that they will vote next Sunday – a day when a particularly complicated state is approaching.
This poll also shows that Seguro has an extra asset: PS and left-wing voters vote for the candidate, but also more than half of those who voted for other candidates in the first round (João Cotrim de Figueiredo, Henrique Gouveia e Melo and Luís Marques Mendes) also vote for Seguro.
In fact, there is an overwhelming percentage here: Those who, in the first round, preferred a candidate who did not make it to the second round, will clearly choose Insurance – 89% of preferences versus just 1% of Ventura.
But there is still a considerable percentage of: or undecided, or who will vote for branco or null, or that do not respond (19% not total).
