Italy has repelled several cyber attacks on Foreign Ministry facilities and infrastructure related to the Winter Olympics in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo, according to Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani. The targets of the attacks were websites of the Winter Olympics and hotels in Cortina, Tajani said, according to media reports on Wednesday. These were cyber attacks of “Russian origin”.
