A PCRJ (Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro) carried out, this Wednesday (4), a operation in Glory Hillin Paraty (RJ). The action resulted in death of a man suspected of lead drug trafficking in the region, and of participating in the murder of a police officer in September last year, in Angra dos Reis.
In addition to prison from others three suspects to join the Paraty and Angra faction. In total, the police seized weapons, drugs and anabolic steroids.
In a note to CNN Brazilthe PC reported that he committed the murder of a military police officer, in June 2025, and commanded drug trafficking in the Costa Verde region.
This group would also have direct connections with areas dominated by criminal factions in the capital
According to the police, officers DRE-CAP (Capital Narcotics Suppression Police Station) were attacked by the group as they entered the community.
During the confrontation, the suspected leader of the faction was hit and died.
The operation was completed with the seizure of weapons, drugs and anabolic steroids.
