Their year: women dominate the articulations and dictate the pace of the majority dispute in Acre

Women have been courted for the majority positions by political parties, for this year’s 2026 general elections, in Acre.

Contrary to what the Electoral Public Prosecutor’s Office sometimes thinks and the Electoral Court decides, the parties, at least the large and medium-sized political parties, year after year, not only in an election year – even because there are elections every two years – adopt many actions to affiliate women, win over and captivate women to their association, they have in their structure, especially, a segment called party such MULHER, as well as the PL MULHER, the MDB MULHER, the PP MULHER and so many other parties WOMAN.

Just like on Sundays in the past, when the sound car would pass by announcing the dance and the price of the ticket, shouting to make it clear that “women don’t pay”, especially because, at that time, there could not be dancing without women, today, in the organic life of political parties and in elections, people shout even louder, certifying that there is no politics without women.

There are a large number of women who are highly qualified in their professions and respected in their category and by society, who will compete for proportional positions, for state deputy and federal deputy, in the general elections this year, 2026. You will see.

On the national scene, there are two important women, in political life, who make daily headlines in the main newspapers and social networks, currently, MICHELLE BOLSONARO, representing women on the right and ROSÂNGELA LULA DA SILVA, known as JANJA, representing women on the left.

Here in Acre, the center and right-wing parties are well represented by women competing for the majority positions, such as Mailza Assis (PP), Jéssica Sales (MDB), and Fernanda Hassem (PP), who have their bags practically ready to land in the PL, with only a visa missing in their passport.

I would also like to mention a woman on the left, who preaches gender equality and women’s participation in political life, in the dispute for majority positions in this year’s elections, but it seems that they are no longer making warriors like they used to, or, perhaps, they will appear later.

Mailza Assis is the current vice-governor and the PP’s natural candidate for the position of governor, as everyone already knows. Doctor Jéssica Sales, with great charisma and electoral strength, according to press reports, has also decided on her path, which is to run for a majority position for the same party as the Vice-Governor.

The news coming from the border is the real possibility of the former mayoral duo Fernanda Hassem going to Senator Márcio Bittar’s PL, to form the majority ticket for the State Government, with Senator Alan Rick, from the Republicans.

Fernanda Hassem, in addition to being friendly and competent, was an excellent mayor of the border municipality of Brasiléia, twice, in addition to making her successor, the current mayor. It is a skillful and successful policy, which would definitely lead to a victory in the elections on October 4th, also bringing in other mayors and political leaders to strengthen the majority ticket.

Not surprisingly, according to my sources, she was also approached by the current Mayor of Rio Branco, Sebastião Bocalom, to join his majority ticket, should he even confirm his candidacy, at the beginning of April.

In addition to the majority ticket of REPUBLICANOS/PL, if it happens, emerging strengthened, it leaves the way clear for the former Attorney General and former Federal Deputy Wanda Milani (another right-wing woman), mother-in-law of Fernanda Hassem, and mother of the doctor, businessman and politician Israel Milani, to swim headlong in the campaign to return to the Federal Chamber. Fernanda Hassem and Wanda Milani are two vote-winning machines.
