A 15-year-old teenager is identified by the Civil Police as the main person responsible for inserting false arrest warrants against President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and Federal Supreme Court Minister Alexandre de Moraes in the National Justice Council (CNJ) system.
In a note, the CNJ reported that it identified the undue change in data from the National Bank of Penal Measures and Prisons in January this year, which led to the opening of an investigation that pointed to the use of compromised access credentials. There was no direct invasion of the system.
According to the Civil Police, the young man used credentials from Judiciary employees that were improperly captured to access restricted systems and, thus, insert and change official data.
Opportunity with security!
In total, five search and seizure warrants were executed in the cities of Iporá, Goiânia and the Federal District, in the Lex Data operation, launched by the Civil Police of Goiás in conjunction with the state Court of Justice.
Luxury life and scam
The investigation shows that the teenager led a life of luxury, with a spending pattern and financial transactions that were incompatible with his age and family income. He had also not been enrolled in any educational institution for two years.
The young man’s theft of credentials probably occurred through malicious links, known as phishing, which install programs capable of copying credentials used on infected computers.

In addition to the false warrants issued, the scheme conducted by the teenager also attempted to benefit highly dangerous criminals, such as gang members, which would help explain the atypical financial transactions.
Despite the changes and more than 100 movements in the system, no criminal actually benefited from the action, and the Police managed to identify and correct the changes in time.
