Former federal deputy Alexandre Ramagem, on the run after leaving the country for the United States, was questioned by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) via videoconference this Thursday (5).
According to the conference terms, released this Friday (6), the hearing lasted around 50 minutes, and the former parliamentarian was questioned by an assistant judge from Minister Alexandre de Moraes’ office.
According to information obtained by TV GloboRamagem denied all accusations related to his performance as a federal deputy. To defend himself, according to the broadcaster, the former deputy also attacked Moraes.

Alexandre Ramagem is being investigated for two crimes: qualified damage and deterioration of public property in the context of the coup acts of January 8, 2023.
The criminal action brought against him had been suspended due to his privileged jurisdiction as a federal deputy and by decision of the Chamber, but was resumed after he lost his mandate.
Ramagem was already sentenced to 16 years in prison for three other crimes, but fled to the United States before the case became final. The former deputy’s extradition request has already been formally presented.
