Amazon is investing $200 billion in data centers, AI chips and satellites


Like its rivals Google and Microsoft, Amazon is also making significant investments. They are expected to increase by 50 percent to $200 billion in 2026, the online retailer announced on Thursday. The money should flow into the construction of new data centers and the development of AI chips and communication satellites, said CEO Andy Jassy. Analysts had expected spending of almost $145 billion.
