Harris says Biden was “tired”

Kamala Harris has been traveling the country in recent months to promote her book, “107 Days”, which corresponds to the duration of her hastily launched campaign after Joe Biden’s withdrawal on July 21, 2024.

In the work, released in September last year, Harris claims to have been “reckless” for Democrats to leave the decision to run again in 2024 to the “tired” Biden and denounced the former president’s team for demeaning her.

The former president would withdraw from the race in July 2024, after a disastrous performance in the debate with Trump, after which the then vice-president assumed the Democratic candidacy.

The former vice president also blames people close to Biden for unfavorable media coverage which he was the target of throughout the period in which he held office.

“In fact, it seemed that they decided that I should be demoted a little more”, he states in his book.

Harris has criticized Trump on several occasions, most recently after the military intervention in Venezuela, which she considered “illegal and reckless“.
