Potato cutlets with delicious additions. Potatoes are a dinner hit for the whole family

Potato flakes are simple, home-made cutlets made from boiled potatoes. However, their taste is built by additives, i.e fried smoked bacon, mushrooms and onionwhich give them more expressiveness. After cooking, the potatoes are pressed through a press, thanks to which the mass is smooth and delicate. Then the fried ingredients are added, eggs, flour and spices – marjoram and ground sweet pepper. Mix everything thoroughly, form cutlets and fry in a pan until they become golden-brown. The potatoes are slightly crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside and very aromatic. They are made quicklyand the satisfaction from eating them is really great.

Ingredients:

• 2 kg of potatoes,
• 150 g raw smoked bacon,
• 150 g mushrooms,
• onion,
• egg,
• 3 tablespoons of wheat flour,
• half a teaspoon of marjoram,
• half a teaspoon of sweet paprika powder,
• fat for frying.

How to do it:

1. Peel the potatoes and cook in salted water in the traditional way. Then wait until they cool down a bit and then press them through the press. You can also mash them thoroughly with a fork.

2. Cut the smoked bacon, mushrooms and onion into small cubes. Fry in a heated pan with a little fat. When the bacon is browned and the vegetables are soft, add them to the potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, marjoram and sweet paprika. Beat the egg and add flour. Combine to create a uniform mass, ready for frying.

3. Heat the fat in a pan. Form small cutlets from the mixture and fry for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.
