Two elderly women were robbed last Tuesday (3) by two criminals who approached them at the door of an establishment where they were arriving for a yoga class in Santo Amaro, in the South Zone of São Paulo.
In a video taken by a security camera, it is possible to see that the victims were waiting at the door to enter when two armed robbers arrived and one of them said: “take off the ring, take off the ring”. One of the ladies then asks him to go slowly and out of patience he shouts for her to take it off quickly.
The record also shows that the man takes the cell phone from one of the victims while the other holds out her hands to show that she is not wearing a ring, then the gate opens and she enters the establishment, leaving the other with the robbers.
The victim finds it difficult to take off the ring and the criminal says he will shoot if the jewelry doesn’t come off. “Quickly. You’re going to be shot, I’m going to bite your finger off”, he warns. Then he starts a count to hurry her up and holds the elderly woman’s hand, forcing her to pull the ring until he succeeds and leaves immediately.
