Chemicals for cleaning toilets can be expensive. Their price ranges from PLN 40-60. It must be admitted that the effect after using them is not always satisfactory. Products that we have at our fingertips in the kitchen may be more effective. This time we will focus on a certain drink – thanks to it, the stone comes off in flakes.

The scale is most noticeable below the waterline and in the nooks and crannies of the shell. Only by regular cleaning will we limit its formation. But how do you get rid of the current layer of sediment? For this purpose, a popular drink such as… cola will come in handy.

How to clean the toilet with Coke? We can do this in two ways. One of them involves pouring 1 cup of the drink into the bowl and waiting for an hour. After this time, we scrub it with a brush and rinse it all off. For an even better effect, we can wait all night.
Another method is to soak a sponge in cola. We carefully squeeze out excess liquid and wipe dirty surfaces. Finally, we flush the toilet as usual.
A popular kitchen product that can be used to remove limescale is vinegar. We heat it in a pot and pour it into the shell. We can also soak paper towels in it and put them in the toilet flange. After an hour, the toilet will be as good as new.
It is also worth using a paste of baking soda and water. We apply it to the sediment found in the toilet bowl. After 30 minutes, rinse everything with warm water.
