António José Seguro warns that, if elected, he will question the Government about storm management. The candidate guarantees that if he visits the affected areas next week, he will do so discreetly again.
Presidential candidate António José Seguro promised this Friday that, when it is time to determine responsibilities for the response to the storms, he will ask “very specific questions” and that none will be “unanswered”.
“You have an obligation, you have a duty and, therefore, it would be unacceptable for [o Estado] was not prepared for this situation that is expected for tomorrow [sábado] and that I hope will not come to fruition, that it will always be lower in intensity than expected”, he defended, speaking to journalists, on the last day of the campaign.
Regarding the assessment of what went wrong, which the candidate supported by the PS has guaranteed will only happen when the emergency period has passed, he left a guarantee.
“And, in addition to the reports, I will ask questions. And I will ask very clear, very objective and very specific questions to those who have responsibilities for civil protection in our country”, he said, emphasizing that with me “there will be no unanswered questions”.
