Gábor Boráros searched for the right words for days to tell his daughter the most difficult news of his life. The MMA fighter finally found the determination in himself and told three-year-old Zora that her mother Monika Jákliová († 31) she died. In an interview for Hungarian television, he spoke about what he had experienced in the past days.
The influencer died tragically in a traffic accident that happened on Wednesday, January 21, between Dolný Štál and Veľký Meder. At the time of the terrible accident, Boráros had his daughter at home. At first, he kept it a secret from Zora that his ex-partner had died, but the little girl kept asking when her mother would pick her up. The MMA wrestler had to explain to the kindergarten teacher that Monika would never come again.
He found the courage to tell her the truth only after a few days. “Mama won’t get well. We won’t see her, she won’t come back, but she hears you and sees you from above among the angels. She’s watching you from there.” said Boraros to the little princess. “It’s a brutal task every day. Zora remembers how she and her mother played or what they did together. I have to be strong and carry on because my daughter needs me. I’ll stick it out no matter how hard it gets. I want Zora to be happy and have a good life. I have to and want to devote myself fully to the role of father. If I have to, I’ll get up at five in the morning,” he confessed on a Hungarian television show.
The wrestler turned to an expert for the sake of his daughter. On the recommendation of a psychologist, they displayed joint photos of Monika and little Zorka at home. “The doctor said that we have to display such photos, that’s why I already did it yesterday. Zora also helped and chose which photos she wanted to see there. That’s exactly how they’ll be there forever, to make her happy.” he explained on Instagram. “To know what she was, what she was like… How much love there was,” dodal Winemaker.
