Aromatic turkey shank it’s a great idea for dinner. Before the meat undergoes heat treatment, it’s worth getting them in advance marinate. The effect will be really delicious. To prepare the marinated turkey shank you will need the following ingredients:

  • the turkey golo (wheel 450 g),
  • a spoon of mustard,
  • a spoon of honey,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of rosemary,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of thyme,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of marjoram,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried sweet pepper,
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth,
  • 3 tablespoons of oil,
  • salt and pepper.

Preparation method:

  1. First, let’s start with the marinade. In a bowl, mix mustard, honey, pressed garlic cloves and spices. We also add 3 tablespoons of oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Rub the turkey shank thoroughly and then set it aside for about half an hour. After this time, place the meat in an ovenproof dish, pour the chicken broth inside and cover it.
  3. Bake the pork shank for about 80 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. At the end of baking, you can remove the lid and increase the temperature a bit to brown the skin nicely.

Turkey shank we can serve with baked the mashed potatoes and favorite salad. It also tastes great with beets, coleslaw the pickled cucumbers.
