The North American President is being accused of racism after publishing a video that shows Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys, drawing criticism not only from Democrats but also from Republicans. White House devalues “false outrage”.
The video published by Donald Trump on Thursday night on his social network, Truth Social, is mostly attributed to the ultra-conservative portal Patriot News Outlet.
The video, which has since been deleted, talks about the alleged manipulation of the 2020 electionswhich the Republican President has been denouncing, in which the Democrat Joe Biden defeated Trump.
However, at 59 seconds, the video is interrupted by a short animation that shows the Obama facesthe first African-American couple in the White House, printed on two monkeys for a few seconds before returning to the original content.

There’s no coming back from
This. There’s no “he didn’t mean it.” He “isn’t racist.” The president is a monster, a piece of shit. And if you choose to defend him, you are too.— CALL TO ACTIVISM (@CalltoActivism)
The animation is attributed to the user of the social network X, “xerias_x”, who created a video, using Artificial Intelligence, titled “Trump: Rei da Selva”dated October 24, 2025, a rudimentary film in which the faces of political leaders are inserted into the bodies of animals.
Everyone prostrates themselves before Trump, whose face appears on the body of a lion.
The full Barack Obama “monkey video” portrays numerous elected officials, Republicans and Democrats, as Lion King-like characters, with Trump as a lion and king of the jungle.
Interesting how this fact is not being reported on.

White House denounces “false outrage”
“This is an excerpt from a video posted on the Internet that shows President Trump as the King of the Jungle, and Democrats as characters from The Lion King. Stop this false outrage and report something that has some meaning to the American public,” said the presidential spokeswoman, Caroline Leavittin a statement sent to the French agency AFP, following accusations of racism.
The leader of the Democratic minority in the US Congress, Hakeem Jeffriescondemned the publication and called on Republicans to “denounce Donald Trump’s disgusting intolerance”.
The Obamas, stressed the Democratic leader, himself African-American, are “brilliant, compassionate and patriotic Americans and represent the best of this country”.
President Trump, he added, is “despicable, unbalanced and pernicious” and “a sick individual.”
For his part, the Republican Tim Scottthe only black senator from his party in the United States Congress, asked Donald Trump to remove the video – which ended up happening.
“I pray I’m wrong because it’s the most racist thing I’ve ever seen leave this White House. The President should remove him”, said the conservative senator on the social network X.
