reports having completed more than 11 thousand installments last year, the largest volume ever obtained in one year.

The total is almost double the number in 2024 and exceeds the number of cases judged during the (MDB) and (PL) governments combined.

The liability of accounts to be analyzed ended the year at a still high level, of 10,077 pending cases, but represents the lowest level since 2010. In percentage terms, the figure is the lowest since 1998, with 24% of cases still awaiting deliberation.

The issue of outstanding accounts had been one of the main headaches for the minister’s management.

In 2024, he pointed out that the MinC had at that time a liability of 26 thousand projects from with outstanding accounts.

According to the ministry, the judgment of accounts helps to unlock projects. Producers and artists whose payments were considered irregular will be able to regularize outstanding issues, while those whose accounts were completed can once again access public policies and resources.

The ministry says that the increase in the pace of analysis of accounts results from the reorganization of internal flows, the formation of task forces and the implementation of the Framework for Promotion of Culture.
