O Brazil climbed to the highest place on the podium of the Paris Grand Slam this Saturday (7) on the first day of the tournament. Rafaela Silva He overcame Enkhriilen Lkhagvatogoo, from Mongolia, in the decision and won gold in the under-63kg category.

The 33-year-old Brazilian dominated the final and applied an ippon over the opponent with just 39 seconds of combat. Before that, Rafa went through the Japanese Kirari Yamaguchi, the Dutch Joanne Van Lieshout and the Italian Carlotta Avanzato.

To conquer Rafaela Silva came a few weeks after the judoka leave Flamengo and return to Instituto Reaçãothe club where he started in the sport.
