Riyadh – Saudi Arabia has announced billions of dollars in investments in Syria, underlining its support for the new Syrian leadership. Saudi Investment Minister Khalid al-Falih announced on Saturday the creation of a fund that will provide 7.5 billion riyals ($2 billion) to expand two airports in the northern city of Aleppo.
