“Viana: the legend of hearts of gold” tells the unlikely love story between two young people: Ana, played by Daniela Melchior, and Thomas, played by Luke Newton in the English version and by Diogo Piçarra in the Portuguese version.
The animated film combines romance with Portuguese traditions through sets, costumes, filigree and original music.
With a production budget of around 10 million euros, the film hits national cinemas this summer.
