The 8th Military Police Battalion (8th) ended the year 2025 with a significant result in the fight against drug trafficking in , in the interior of Acre. Over the period, the corporation seized approximately 137 kilos of narcotics, including cocaine and marijuana, in different incidents recorded in the municipality.

According to data released by the Military Police, the volume of drugs removed from circulation represents an increase of 407% compared to the year 2024, highlighting the intensification of police actions and the strengthening of strategies to combat organized crime.

The seizures occurred in different operations carried out in neighborhoods, rural areas, and strategic areas of Sena Madureira, involving raids, overt patrols and intelligence actions, with a focus on repressing drug trafficking and promoting public safety.
