In what many consider the second most important event of the night —after the halftime show starring musician Bad Bunny—, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60, the grand finale of the NFL (National Football Association) season, at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara (California).
With a score of 29 to 13, the Seahawks confirmed their favoritism and got a long-awaited rematch — in 2015, the Seattle team lost to the Patriots in the last play of Super Bowl 49.
With the victory this Sunday (8), early on Monday (9) Brasília time, the Seahawks win the second Super Bowl in their history, thanks to the work of their quarterback Sam Darnold and solid defensive work.
On the other hand, even with the defeat, the Patriots ended the year much better than expected. After a disastrous season last year, with just four wins, the six-time Super Bowl champion team had to go through an accelerated rebuilding process.
