The police charged a 39-year-old man with endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance. At the end of last week, the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol in the partisan district of Veľké Bielice. he also had two minor children in the car. Trenčín regional police spokeswoman Petra Klenková informed TASR about this on Monday.
The driver of the Lancia car was stopped and checked by police officers from the district traffic inspectorate in the afternoon. The driver was subjected to a breathalyzer test with the result 1.54 per thousand. “At the time of the inspection, there were also two minor children in the vehicle together with the driver, whom he went to pick up from school,” said Klenková.
According to her, the police officers seized the man’s driver’s license, the authorized member of the Police Force, after carrying out the necessary procedural actions, filed a motion to file an indictment in the matter. “With his actions, the man endangered not only himself, but also minor children and other road users,” emphasized Klenková.
