Trump's reaction to Bad Bunny's historic Super Bowl: "Absolutely terrible, one of the worst in history"

Since it was announced that Bad Bunny would be the artist in charge of the Super Bowl halftime show this year, the most conservative sectors of American politics led by Donald Trump had strongly attacked the artist.

Just a few days ago, the president of the United States said that he thought it was “ridiculous” that the NFL had chosen the Puerto Rican and that he barely knew him. To contextualize, Bad Bunny is the most listened to artist in the world.

Predictably, minutes after the historic show concluded in which the artist recalled that America is not only the United States, Trump’s reaction was immediate. “The Super Bowl halftime show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst in history!” declared the president on the Truth Social social network.

“No one understands a word this guy says, and the dancing is disgusting, especially to the little kids who watch it all over the United States and around the world,” Trump said.

Furthermore, the president did not hesitate to describe Bad Bunny’s show as “a slap” to the United States. “It makes no sense, it is an affront to the greatness of America and it does not represent our standards of success, creativity or excellence,” Trump lamented.

“Together, we are America”

While Trump harshly criticized the Puerto Rican artist, most of the world praised Benito’s message of love and vindication of the Latin community, who closed his performance by naming all the countries of America, remembering that the continent is much more than the United States.

“Together, we are America,” could be read on the American football that the artist showed to the camera before performing DTMF. The same message he gave after winning the Grammy for album of the year was projected on the stadium screens: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

A clear message in the midst of a wave of violence due to the raids by ICE agents, which have targeted thousands of Latinos in recent months.
